Luxury Lace Manicure

Tras tanto tiempo sin escribir en este blog vuelvo con una manicura que he llamado Luxury Lace Manicure, un híbrido entre ya popular Lace Manicure y la manicura francesa, con un toque lujoso y decadente que corre a cargo del esmalte Genius in the Bottle de Catrice.

After so long without writing on this blog, i'm back with a manicure which I called Luxury Lace Manicure, hybrid between popular Lace Manicure and French manicure, with a touch of luxury and decadence that is provided by the Genius in the Bottle polish ( Catrice ).

 Para hacer esta manicura tan sólo he necesitado:

- tijeras bien afiladas.

- encaje negro.

- un dotter fino, en este caso de Essence.

- esmalte ( Genius in the Bottle )

- un esmalte incoloro ( este ni siquiera es un topper ).

  To make this manicure I only needed:

- Sharp scissors.

- Black lace.

- A thin dotter, in this case Essence dotter.

- Enamel (Genius in the Bottle).

- A colorless enamel (this is not even a topper ).

 Aunque había realizado unas plantillas del tamaño de mis uñas, al final ni las he utilizado, pues el proceso es rápido y sencillo. Se corta una tira del encaje que deje no cubra la uña en toda su longitud, y se van contando trozos del ancho de cada uña. Se hace la forma curva inferior, y con un poquito de esmalte transparente, se ayuda a fijar sobre la base de esmalte de color.Una vez hecho esto se coloca perfectamente con el dotter  y se añade entonces una cantidad abundante de topper o de esmalte incoloro. En las zonas más curvas de la uña puede ser necesario presionar un poco con el dotter hasta que el topper se seque.

 Ahora sólo queda intentar no fregar los platos a menudo, para que nos dure más la Luxury Lace Manicure ;).

Una manicura francesa bicolor diferente/ A different french manicure in two tones

La semana pasada ha fallecido alguien muy importante para mí, por ello no tenía ánimos de pintarme las uñas. Pero también entiendo que cuando uno es blogger adquiere cierto compromiso, por ello, cuando me serené un poco hice este sencillo look con dos colores para poder mostraros algo. Sé que no es auténtico nail art, lo lógico sería haberle puesto algún dibujo con ruedas de estampación. Pero no tengo humor.

Por cierto, se me estropeó definitivamente la cámara de fotos, hasta que la pueda arreglar o reemplazar deberemos conformarnos con el móvil.

Para este look se necesitan tan sólo dos esmaltes que contrasten. Yo empleé un rosa de N.Y.C. Coluors y un esmalte azul cobalto metalizado que compré en un bazar chino aunque está fabricado en España. El nombre de la marca es Spring, se vende en frascos de 15 ml y ofrece unos acabados preciosos. Sólo lo he visto en este bazar que os comento, y lo tienen en un mueble aparte, con infinidad de colores.



En primer lugar me apliqué el color rosa de NYC donde correspondía para la manicura francesa, alternando la combinación rosa-azul de uña a uña. No importa si os pasais un poco con el rosa, porque el azul es intenso en color y muy cubriente, así que no se notará.

La línea de la parte saliente de la uña, así como el punto de contacto con la misma según el caso las realicé con un trazo "horizontal" del pincel de cada esmalte. El resto carnoso de la uña lo pinté como de costumbre, en vertical, comenzando por el centro y con cuidado de lograr un acabado uniforme.

Con el esmalte rosa seco en ambas manos apliqué el color azul en el resto, esta vez con cuidado de no salirme de las zonas a cubrir.

Acabé con una capa final de brillo para lograr una mayor duración del resultado.



Como dije, la idea es no pararse aquí sino añadir unos dibujos en blanco o en negro elaborados con planchas de estampación, en mi caso de la marca Konad.

Last week died someone very important to me, so I had no mood to paint my nails. But I also understand that when you are a blogger you takes a certain commitment, therefore, when I calmed a bit I did this simple look with two colors to show you something. I know that is not genuine nail art, one would have put a picture with the printing wheels. But I have no mood.

By the way, it finally has broken my camera, until we can fix or replace it I'll use my mobile phone.

For this look you need just two contrasting lacquers. I employed a pink N.Y.C. Coluors and metallic cobalt blue enamel I bought at a chinese market but is manufactured in Spain. The brand name is Spring, is sold in bottles of 15 ml and offers beautiful finishes. I've only seen in the market that I comment, where there is a separate cabinet with a lot of colors.

First I applied the pink NYC where it belonged to the french manicure, alternating blue with pink nail to nail. No matter if you pass a little with pink lacquer, because blue is intense in color and very opaque, so you will not notice it.

The line of the overhang of the nail, as well as the contact point with the same as the case got done with a stroke "horizaontal" brush each nail. The rest of the nail fleshy I painted as usual, vertically, starting from the center and carefully to achieve a uniform finish.

With the dry pink enamel on both hands applied the blue color in the rest, this time being careful not to get out of areas to cover.

I ended up with a final layer of gloss for a longer lasting result.

As I said, the idea is not to stop here but add some drawings in black and white printing with plates made in my case Konad brand.
